Cáceres low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

Cáceres' ZBE ordinance was published in the Cáceres provincial bulletin on 29 December 2025 and took effect the next day. It does not restrict by DGT label: access, circulation and parking in the zone are prohibited for vehicles that are not free-access vehicles or registered in the municipal register of authorised vehicles. A third-party guide says the zone is the historic centre, controlled by cameras at all times. The ordinance sets a EUR 200 fine, plus 30% for repeat offences.

Notes: Ordinance text read in BOP Cáceres no. 247 (29 Dec 2025). The time of application is 'continuous' (annex 1). Whether fines are actually issued under the ZBE ordinance was not confirmed; a third-party guide says unauthorised entry is fined and notes claims of a moratorium to July 2026 are not in the published text.
