Ciudad Real low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

Ciudad Real's ZBE ordinance was definitively approved on 22 December 2025 and published in the provincial bulletin on 30 December 2025, according to a third-party guide. It creates two zones: 'Zona Ciudad Real Saludable', the pedestrian centre streets where only authorised vehicles may enter, and a pollution-episode zone covering everything inside the ring roads, where unlabelled vehicles are banned only when an episode is declared (reportedly never activated so far). The serious-infraction fine is reported as EUR 200 (EUR 100 with early payment). Not verified on an official page.
