Girona low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

Girona's ZBE ordinance was definitively approved on 9 December 2024 and the zone started operating on 15 September 2025. Vehicles without a DGT label from outside Girona may not enter on working days 07:00–20:00, except on up to 24 days a year without any request. Vehicles domiciled in Girona in 2024 are exempt. The ordinance sets a EUR 200 fine. Foreign vehicles must register in the authorised-vehicle register.
