Irun low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines
Irun has no low emission zone in force. The council initially approved its ZBE ordinance on 29 May 2026 and expects definitive approval at the end of 2026, with entry into force in the first half of 2028. Phase 1 would restrict vehicles without a DGT label; from 2030 B-label vehicles would also be restricted. Foreign vehicles would need prior registration.

Not addressed in the sources checked. Campervans/motorhomes are not given a separate rule; access depends on the vehicle's DGT label (or equivalent proof for foreign vehicles) like any other motor vehicle. Not verified for this vehicle type.

Amount not set because the ordinance is only initially approved and the FAQ gives a maximum ("up to").Ayuntamiento de Irun
