Linares low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

Linares' ZBE ordinance has been in force since late 2024 (published in the Jaén provincial bulletin on 11 October 2024 and republished in amended form on 29 July 2025), according to a third-party guide. What matters is where vehicle tax is paid, not the label: vehicles with their vehicle tax (IVTM) in Linares when the ordinance took effect enter freely at all times. In the current phase only unlabelled vehicles from outside are restricted, 08:00–21:00 daily. Fines (EUR 200) start three months after Phase 1 ends, and no date has been published.
