Mijas low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines
Mijas has no ZBE ordinance as far as could be found. In 2023 it told the Spanish Ombudsman that the ZBE would be part of its sustainable mobility plan; in December 2024 the Ombudsman sent it recommendations that went unanswered. In April 2025 press reported council plans for a camera-controlled zone in the historic village of Mijas Pueblo, but no approved text or start date was found.
