Orihuela low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

No ZBE ordinance was found for Orihuela. In February 2024 the city told the Spanish Ombudsman that the ZBE was included in the action plan of its sustainable mobility plan (PMUS). The PMUS had initial approval on 26 January 2023 and awaited regional environmental assessment, and the ZBE could be implemented once the PMUS was definitively approved. The Ombudsman noted that Orihuela gave no timetable. Later developments could not be checked.
