Ponferrada low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

Ponferrada's low emission zone ordinance and technical project were definitively approved and published in the BOP of León on 11 December 2024. Per a third-party guide, all vehicles may enter the city-centre zone except during pollution episodes, when restrictions by label apply depending on the episode level. The same guide describes an informative phase without fines until 31 December 2026, warnings and EUR 100 fines in the first half of 2027, and EUR 200 from 1 July 2027.
