Tres Cantos low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines

Tres Cantos' ZBE ordinance was published in BOCM no. 241 on 9 October 2024 and took effect the next day, according to a third-party guide. The ZBE is not an area but two avenues: Avenida de Colmenar Viejo, activated on 23 December 2025 with police checks, and Avenida de Viñuelas, not yet active (the 2024 plan delays it to 2028). Unlabelled vehicles not registered in Tres Cantos are restricted, with six 24-hour accesses a year; vehicles registered in Tres Cantos and up to date with vehicle tax always enter. No official document fixes when fining starts.
