Viladecans low-emission zone (ZBE): rules, labels & fines
Viladecans's low emission zone ordinance was definitively approved by the plenary on 28 November 2024 (BOPB 13 December 2024). Vehicles of categories L, M and N without a DGT label may not circulate in the zone on working days 07:00–20:00. The sanction regime applies from 1 January 2025, and the ordinance states the fine is EUR 200. Foreign vehicles must register in the AMB metropolitan register. Press coverage of a September 2026 audit lists Viladecans among the municipalities fining effectively.

Notes: On 3 Feb 2026 the council exceptionally authorised all vehicles to circulate in the ZBE for three days at the Generalitat's request during the Rodalies rail crisis (vil-bop-2026-susp). Press coverage of the Sindicatura de Comptes report (Sept 2026) lists Viladecans among the six municipalities applying fines effectively, so 'fines_issued' is from press. The ZBE is integrated in the AMB automatic control and sanction system. Annex 1 was not read.
